Lindsey Rangel, MSN, RN, CHCR Bio

Lindsey Rangel is the Director of Nurse Recruitment at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Lindsey joined University Medical Center in 2011. In her role as Director, she is responsible for the recruiting of all nursing staff. University Medical Center is a 500 bed facility and the only Magnet facility and level 1 trauma center in the region. Prior to becoming Director, Lindsey worked as the Assistant Director of Nurse Recruitment, lead nurse recruiter, nurse recruiter, staff RN and relief charge nurse in Endoscopy, and staff RN in Cardiac ICU at University Medical Center. Lindsey has spent the last four years of her nursing career in nursing talent acquisitions at University Medical Center. Lindsey received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, Lubbock, TX; her Masters of Nursing in Nursing Education and Leadership from Lubbock Christian University, Lubbock, TX; and is currently working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University, Grove, IL. Lindsey is certified as a Health Care Recruiter through the National Association of Health Care Recruitment. Lindsey’s main goal is dedicated to retaining, cultivating, and developing the nursing staff at University Medical Center.
